District attorney tried to indict the late Peter Jennings in the mid-1960's.

Peter Jennings and ABC were doing a series on sex education, a hot topic for those days, the mid '60s, and Dwyer and his editor-buddy were agitated by the thought that young kids were watching this left-wing trash on their home sets. So Dwyer went to the pay phone and called United Press International and told UPI that he planned to indict both Peter Jennings and ABC News for obscenity right here in Rensselaer County. . . . . .Full Story
