Rocker Jerry Cantrell recovering after surgery.

Jerry Cantrell of Alice in Chains is recovering from surgery last week to repair a rock 'n' roll shoulder injury, publicist Bob Merlis said Monday.
The surgery removed bone fragments and repaired cartilage in Cantrell's left shoulder, Merlis said. Cantrell, 39, was treated by Dr. Stephen Lombardo, an orthopedic surgeon who serves as team physician to the Los Angeles Lakers.
Cantrell's next performance is scheduled March 10, when he and Alice in Chains bandmates Sean Kinney and Mike Inez will record an episode of VH1's "Decades Rock Live!". . . . . .Source
